Message from the Lada family

Dear Commander,

I just wanted to thank you and all the Amvets who reponded to my grandfather, Stanley Lada's, birthday announcement. It was such a nice surprise and we all, Stanley included, really appreciated it.

Sincerely,

Cindy and Michael McVey and Family

The SI Chamber of Commerce and Assemblyman Michael Cusick have sponsored the Staten Island VETS Program, a very important initiative to thank our local veterans for their service. Veterans are issued an identification card that they can present at participating businesses in order to receive a pre-determined discount on goods or services.

Businesses wishing to offer a discount will receive a decal identifying them as a participant. Additionally, each business will be listed on the websites of both the Chamber and Assemblyman Cusick. Businesses can reserve the right to drop the program at any time should they so choose.

If you have any additional questions regarding the program, please do not hesitate to call the Chamber at 718-727-1900.
